Walking Across America With Mycle Brandy

Mycle Brandy is a 4-time stroke survivor who experienced his first stroke at the early age of 37.
That's why Mycle is spreading stroke awareness across America! He's walked from Newport Beach to Washington DC (WAA)in 2010. In 2011 he walked from San Diego to Seattle (S2S). In 2012 he walked from Madawaska, Maine 2 Miami, Florida (M2M). So far Mycle has walked 6404 miles to raise awareness of the dangers of a sedentary lifestyle and give hope to those who are Survivors and Caregivers.
In 2014 Mycle will take on his biggest challenge yet! He will walk from Portland, Oregon 2 Portland, Maine (P2P); a total of over 3600 miles. He plans to begin this greatest adventure on April 2, 2014 and complete it on January 5, 2015 (1-5-15). Along the way he will spread his message to as many people as he can through local and national media. He'll visit stroke patients in hospitals and stroke survivors in support groups along the way.
Mycle’s message remains clear. A sedentary life-style is a breeding ground for stroke and heart disease. Just a minimal amount of exercise diminishes the chances of stroke and heart disease demonstrably. His message has been heard by over 200 million people during WAA, S2S & M2M through various media sources.
When Mycle completes P2P in January 2015, he will have walked over 10,000 miles since 2/14/10 all in the hopes that folks will get off the couch and walk for life!! Please help him raise $10,000 for the National Stroke Assn. That's only a dollar per mile he will have walked when the journey is complete.
