George Davis, Sr.‘s Legacy Fund was established in 2011 to honor his commitment to stroke prevention and treatment. Our friends and loved ones supported his passion by generously contributing over $50,000 to National Stroke Association in his memory. Thus, we have carried on his commitment to help prevent stroke and to improve the lives affected by it.
By supporting the George Davis Sr. Legacy Fund, you have the opportunity to be a research pioneer to support the development and validation of technology with the potential to change the face of medicine. You may have heard of telemedicine, a cutting edge concept that leverages communication technology to connect healthcare providers and patients who are in completely different locations. Currently, many advances in telemedicine are focused on acute care settings, such as hospital emergency rooms. Telerehab represents a new approach, one focused on increasing quality of care by using technology to embed the patient’s rehabilitation program including virtual clinical “visits” in the patient’s home.
The promise of telerehab is clear: no longer will financial resources or geographic location limit a patient’s ability to access top quality rehabilitative care.
The George Davis Sr. Legacy Fund can play a key role in improving the quality of life for stroke survivors by providing funding to increase cutting-edge research and technology development at the intersection of telemedicine and rehab. By combining National Stroke Association’s disease expertise and strong medical advisory connections with the Legacy Fund’s monetary resources, we will work towards providing pioneering rehabilitative services to underserved communities all across the United States.
We cannot tell you how much your support means to our family and to all those touched by stroke—there are no words. What we can tell you with certainty is that your donation will have a positive and lasting impact.
Our deepest thanks,
Mary Graham Davis Sharon Januchowski, Executive Vice President, National Stroke Association

The first is inertia; staying in the current rut is a little easier and more comfortable than kicking yourself out of it by making a decision. Consequently we tell ourselves that the status quo is not so bad and we can put up with the difficulties that are apparent to an outsider. Secondly there is the fear of the unknown. This is a little paradoxical since none of us actually know what tomorrow holds but we always assume that it will be mainly the same as today.
Binary options in regards to trading are trading contracts that are contingent on whether the fundamental asset decreases or increases in value, and the investor's prediction of these movements. There is a payout structure that is defined as "all or nothing" by some brokerage houses and you can receive high dividends for your correct forecasts. The Securities and Exchange Commission defines binaries as stock, commodities or foreign exchange funds that have only two possible outcomes. Consequences are a pre-determined amount of money payout if the asset increases or the loss of your entire investment if the asset falls below the predicted price.
