2018 Comeback Trail - Orange County

Team Booyah

As some of you may know my father had a right Basil Ganglia stroke on January 15,2018 and is still on the journey to rehabilitation. He is a strong and motivated man who has already battled the challenges of stage IV colon cancer. Stroke is very new to our family and as you all can imagine we are still adjusting. Bert shows improvement everyday but struggles to see the minor improvements in his everyday life. In support of his journey we would love to participate in this event.

We are raising awareness and celebrating stroke survivors at the Orange County Comeback Trail 5K - a charity event that supports the National Stroke Association. This 5K walk/fun-run empowers stroke survivors and caregivers to #ComebackStrong. We've set a fundraising goal to support the stroke rehabilitation and prevention efforts of the National Stroke Association.

Please support our team, and the 7 million stroke survivors in the United Sates, by making a donation today. Together, we can empower survivors and caregivers as they come back strong from stroke.

Did you know?

  • Stroke is the 5th leading cause of death in the U.S. & a leading cause of adult disability.
  • Every 40 seconds someone in the U.S. experiences a stroke.
  • Every 4 minutes someone in the U.S. dies from a stroke.
  • Stroke kills two times more women than breast cancer annually.

That's why we are participating, will you join us?
