Welcome and Please Help!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Chicago Comeback Trail 5K - my fourth! - 5K walk/fun run that supports the National Stroke Association and empowers stroke survivors and caregivers to #ComebackStrong!

On December 10, 2012, I became a stroke survivor. Almost four years later, on October 22, 2016, I participated in my first Comeback Trail 5K, at Jones Beach, New York, with my husband, Terry Kennedy, and three of our NY family. I've walked two more Comeback Trails since then, Chicago's first Comeback Trail, June 3, 2017 -- our Chicago team is pictured above! -- and my second New York 5K. This coming June 2, 2018 we'll be walking in Chicago again!

Please help us raise awareness and support for stroke survivors and families, for their carers, and for all who are affected by strokes. As a stroke survivor I fight for my ongoing recovery every day. I am forever thankful for everyone who has supported me along the way. I am dedicated to raising stroke awareness, honoring survivorship, and helping others.

Please support me and the 7 million stroke survivors in the United Sates, by making a donation today. Together, we can empower survivors and caregivers as they come back strong from stroke. The process is fast, easy, and secure.

And if you can, please walk with us on June 3! To register and join our team, simply follow the link on this page!

You also can support us by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter.

I know you have many responsibilities and support other charitable endeavors -- please know that we do not take your generosity for granted. We cannot do this without you. On this, my fourth Comeback Trail 5K, I am once again ready, and I am very, very grateful,
