My father and I are raising awareness and celebrating stroke survivors at the Long Island Comeback Trail 5K - a charity event that supports the National Stroke Association.
As many of you know, in early February I suffered a stroke caused by a small clot in the left side of my brain. Fortunately I recovered quickly, and am so grateful for the support of my family and friends who have helped me throughout this experience. After many tests, the cause of my stroke is still largely undetermined.
This 5K walk/fun-run empowers stroke survivors and caregivers to #ComebackStrong. We've set a fundraising goal to support the stroke rehabilitation and prevention efforts of the National Stroke Association.
Please support our team, and the 7 million stroke survivors in the United Sates, by making a donation today. Together, we can empower survivors and caregivers as they come back strong from stroke.
