Stroke Strike me at 31!

After many ups and downs in life, in that exact hour, I was thinking to myself that I’m a healthy man, hold my MBA, attending law school to become a lawyer . I’m about to get to the ocean in southern California and head to surf in the waves. It was 3:30 in the afternoon and I got into the water. I was going to catch the waves, but this time a big wave caught me off guard and as soon as I got out of the wave, I realized that I can’t see anymore! The left side of my body didn’t belong to me! I knew my life was going to end but I’m a surfer and I don’t wanna die this way!

It was hard to stand still but I was taken out of the water, went into a long coma and I was diagnosed with artery stroke! My left cerebellum was dead and taken out and now I had to learn how to sit and walk all over again!

I spent the next couple of years in and out of the hospital. My driver license was taken away from me due to California DMV regulations.  The law (Vehicle Code
Sections 13800
13801) required me to take test to reclaim my driver license.

Since the accident, life went into a different direction, I had so much on my plate and I was unable to finish law school, some made fun of the way I walk on the street ( my balance wasn’t perfect sometime when I was tried of walking) some friends and family moved on with their lives and I was alone!

Until I read the following:

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you're hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain't you! You're better than that!

Rocky Balboa

Yes the world ain’t sunshine and rainbows!! I JUST had a lady in my life who I loved so much but she left me! My prayers and best wishes goes toher but nobody hits as hard as life!

Get ready, emotionally and physically! I’ve been working out almost for six years now, rebuilt my body and mind and I know you can do the same.
